Prep Your Nails
Start with clean nails. Remove any old polish, gently push back cuticles, and file and shape your nails as desired.

Apply Base Coat
This step helps extend the life of your manicure, prevents staining, and creates a smooth surface for polish.

Apply Colour
Apply 2–3 thin coats of your chosen polish, allowing each layer to dry fully before adding the next.

Seal with Top Coat
Finish with a top coat to lock in colour, add a glossy shine, and protect your manicure. (We highly recommend this step for the best results!)

Top Tips for a Flawless Manicure

• Soften First: Apply cuticle softener before gently pushing back your cuticles for easier, safer prep.
• Dehydrate Before Polish: Use a nail dehydrator as the final step of nail prep to remove oils, improve adhesion, and help your manicure last longer.
• Avoid Flooding: Be careful not to flood the cuticle area with polish. If any polish gets on your skin, wipe it away before it dries to prevent lifting at the edges.
• Cap the Free Edge: When applying polish, swipe across the tip of each nail to “cap” the free edge—this helps seal the manicure and prevent chipping.
• Nourish Daily: Regularly apply cuticle oil to keep your nails healthy, strong, and your manicure looking fresh for longer.

Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde resin,
Toluene, Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Camphor, Xylene, Ethyl tosylamide, Triphenyl phosphate, Parabens,
Animal-derived ingredients.

And because you’ve asked: TPO and HEMA (common irritants in gel systems) aren’t in our lacquers either – they don’t belong in air-dry polish to begin with.

• Stop using if irritation occurs.
• Store polishes in a cool dark place to ensure maximum shelf life. Exposure to heat or sunlight can change the colour or consistency of the polish over time.
• As our polishes are carefully hand-mixed in small batches, you may notice slight colour variations of 5-10% between batches. These subtle differences are part of what makes our polishes unique, providing a sustainable and low-waste alternative to large commercial brands.
• We do our best to show true-to-life colours, but they may look different depending on the screen they're viewed on, lighting and skin tone.
• Some highly pigmented shades may stain on more porous nails. To help prevent this, use a protective base coat. Our Super Strong and Nail Rescue Base Coats both help to prevent staining.

After your payment is verified, we pack and ship your goodies within 1–3 business days, straight from our Sydney HQ. During holiday periods, sales, or new release launches, dispatch may take up to 5 business days.

Australia Post states standard shipping usually takes 2–8 business days after receipt.

Duties, Taxes & Customs

For United States and Canada orders, tariff and customs charges will be included as a line item at checkout. We will then pay these charges prior to delivery, so there should be no surprise customs fees on arrival.

Please note that customs processing may occasionally cause delays outside of our control.

Returns & Refunds

• We handcraft our polish in Australia with loads of love and seriously high standards. That said, every now and then a little hiccup can happen.
• If your order arrives damaged or not quite right, please email us at hello@kittinails.com within 30 days. Include your proof of purchase, some clear pics, and all the details so we can suss out what went wrong.
• We’ll get back to you within 7 days with a solution and let you know how to return your item(s) if needed.

• Due to health and hygiene reasons, we can't offer refunds or replacements for change-of-mind or incorrect purchases. So pretty please double-check your order before checking out - your future mani will thank you.
