Create dreamy velvet magnetic effects with our powerful pink horseshoe magnet.

Designed for use with magnetic nail polish, this magnet has an 11kg pull force to help create a stronger, more defined velvet effect. You can also attach it to a spinner via the hole at the top to create glass bead style nail art.

It comes with a metal protector plate to help keep it safe when not in use. Because the magnet is very strong, the plate can sometimes be difficult to remove. Slide the plate sideways off the magnet rather than lifting it straight up.

Directions

Prep Your Nails
Start with clean nails. Remove any old polish, gently push back cuticles, and file and shape your nails as desired.

Apply Base Coat
This helps extend your manicure, prevents staining, and creates a smooth canvas.

Apply 1st Layer
Shake your polish well to ensure the magnetic particles are mixed. Apply one thin coat to all nails and let it dry completely.

Apply 2nd Layer
Place your finger in the middle of the horseshoe magnet, then apply a generous second coat.
Do one nail at a time. The polish needs to still be wet for the magic to happen.
Hold steady in the magnet for at least 30 seconds. The longer you hold, the sharper the effect.

Repeat for each nail
Apply, magnetise, repeat. One nail at a time is key here.

Seal with Top Coat
Apply top coat to one nail at a time while your finger is in the magnet. Top coat can rewet the polish underneath, so it’s best to magnetise this layer too.

Top Tips for a Flawless Manicure

  • Soften First: Apply cuticle softener before gently pushing back your cuticles for easier, safer prep.
  • Dehydrate Before Polish: Use a nail dehydrator as the final step of nail prep to remove oils, improve adhesion, and help your manicure last longer.
  • Avoid Flooding: Be careful not to flood the cuticle area with polish. If any polish gets on your skin, wipe it away before it dries to prevent lifting at the edges.
  • Cap the Free Edge: When applying polish, swipe across the tip of each nail to “cap” the free edge—this helps seal the manicure and prevent chipping.
  • Nourish Daily: Regularly apply cuticle oil to keep your nails healthy, strong, and your manicure looking fresh for longer.
